Hard-to-find and struck nearly a century ago, the small cache of Imperial Russia gold 5 Ruble coins here are the first group of Uncirculated coins we’ve seen in a long time—and certified in Mint State-66 condition! Minted from 1897-1915, these are the last gold coins of Nicholas II, the last Russian Czar. They barely had a chance to circulate before the Bolsheviks murdered Nicholas, his wife and their children. The end of Russia’s Romanov Dynasty also meant the end for most of these coins. The Bolsheviks ordered all gold coins to be turned into the State. Since the penalty for being caught owning these coins was imprisonment or death, many people complied. The few that remained hidden survived two world wars, the rise and fall of communism and are now witness to today’s rising gold prices. Order yours now before they’re gone!
